Hawaiian Steak Kebab Recipe

Steak kebabs paired with bell peppers, onions, and pineapple (optional), tossed in a flavorful sauce are going to make you drool. The kebabs are juicy, tender, and delectable. My guests still ask for this special kebab recipe. It’s leaked now.
You can serve this dish with scallion rice or enjoy the feast as it is.

Ingredients
  

  • ¼ cup of hoisin sauce
  • 2 tbsp of Ketchup
  • 1 tbsp of rice vinegar
  • 2 tbsp of finely grated fresh ginger
  • 1 medium red onion
  • ½ small pineapple, cut into pieces
  • 2 peppers (red, orange, or both), cut into pieces
  • 1 ½ tbsp of olive oil
  • 1 ¼ lb sirloin steak, trimmed, cut into pieces

Instructions
 

  • Combine ketchup, vinegar, hoisin sauce, and ginger in a bowl.
  • Start by cutting the onion into wedges and then cut each wedge into equal halves.
  • Further, in a bowl, add onion, peppers, and pineapple and toss them in oil. Then add steak and toss again. Pour a little sauce and mix well.
  • Add the vegetables and steak onto the skewers.
  • Grill or BBQ the kebabs. Turn them occasionally while basting the hoisin mixture.
  • Once cooked well. Repeat for other skewers.
  • Transfer them onto a plate.
