25-Minute Steak Recipes – Enjoy the Taste Of Meat

minute steak recipes

Do you know how the name ‘Minute Steaks originated’? Well, there’s no rocket science here. Minute steaks, also popularly known as cube steaks, are fresh thin slices of beef that cook in no time. These slices are cut from tougher cuts of beef like the chuck.

If you are ever running late for work or maybe want a quick grab in the evening, minute steak is going to be your savior!

It’s versatile, just like your personality, and the tenderness just adds to its perks. Trust me, and you can’t miss out on cooking relishing minute steak recipes.

From coating these steaks into spices to grilling them and serving them with dips, I have an exclusive collection of lip-smacking minute steak recipes. Those will save you all time and will let you enjoy the thinnest tender steak in town.

1. Simcha Minute Steak Roast

The infusion of wine in this recipe makes it perfect for a weekend. When I’m chilling on a weekend and have the time and patience to cook a delicious, flavorful, yet subtle meal, the Simcha Minute Steak Roast will top the menu.

It starts with roasting the steak and then cooking it for about two hours in wine alongside the veggies like carrots and celery.

I like to go Jeunesse Cabernet Sauvignon because it gives a nice blend to the recipe. You can prefer the wine of your choice.

The steak is paired with a good vegetable sauce and some potatoes, of course. Who can ever say no to potatoes, right? You can also add some rice if the meal looks a little incomplete to you.

2. Crock-Pot Minute Steak

What if I tell you that an over isn’t necessary to make the perfect juiciest tender steak? Yes, that’s true. All you need is a crock pot. This recipe might take longer than usual, but surely the wait is going to be worth it.

Coat the steak in a flour mixture that includes paprika, and then let it be browned in a skillet. Usually, this saves time, and then pour the steak into a crockpot with bone broth, onion soup mix, and garlic powder.

Now, the choice is to let it cook slowly for eight hours while you watch your favorite show or fast forward the process to four hours on a high flame. A gym freak might love this recipe for its nutritional value.

3. Country Fried Minute Steaks

This recipe would be a go-to for all the office people. Just ten minutes of your precious time and the crunchiest, flavorful steak is ready. I have a couple of frozen steaks at my place, so this discovery is a blessing.

You just need to coat your steak with an Italian dressing with breadcrumbs, and Voila! Just fry it for five minutes on both sides, and the instant-fried steak is ready to be paired with mashed potatoes or boiled veggies.

I prefer a balanced meal, so a steak paired with some veggies and wine goes along well. Do give it a shot.

4. Minute Steak with Gravy

Are you bored of dry steaks? If that’s the case, then this gravy recipe is for you. When I’m craving a burst of flavors, I dive into this classic recipe which cooks the meat and the gravy separately.

Once both of them are ready, you fuse them to make the gorgeous-looking steak with gravy recipe. Just imagine the flavorful gravy pouring drop by drop on the steak. Are you drooling? I am, surely.

The thick gravy is prepared in a skillet, and the steak is in the oven. It roughly takes an hour to cook this recipe. You can choose to refrigerate the steak for a longer duration if you have time.

5. Minute Steak with Ratatouille

Do you want to amplify your steak with aesthetic colors and flavors? This has to be one of my favorites because it has tomatoes, feta, and the best of the lot – Herbes de Provence.

For those wondering, you might see these dried herbs mixed in many Mediterranean dishes. It adds to the flavor and creates magic in its own way.

Top your steak with tomatoes, onions, and zucchini paired with feta. A spread full of colors prepared in less than ten minutes is the best deal ever. You get a fusion of goodness. A quick tip – the more colors, the merrier.

6. Minute Steaks with Romesco Salad

The Romesco Salad doesn’t feel like a salad! So, don’t get intimidated by the name. This salad in the history of salads is the most flavorful with a capsicum and chili oil dressing. It’s paired with good old potatoes and veggies like beans.

Minute Steaks with Romesco Salad is so wholesome that it takes me back to a cold, windy evening along the beach. The recipe feels unique when the paprika-seasoned steaks are paired with a smoky dressing.

This recipe isn’t for cold-hearted people because of the spiciness. You can tone it down by adding fewer chilies or more potatoes. Don’t worry! The flavor won’t be compromised.

7. Minute Steak with Roasted Fennel and Arugula with Caper Dressing

One of the elite minute steak recipes is this Minute Steak with Roasted Fennel Arugula and Caper Dressing. Trust me, the name sounds rich, but the recipe ain’t that difficult.

It has a caper dressing prepared from anchovies, tomatoes, garlic, and obviously capers. Did you know that caper is used in making tartar sauce? Well, it certainly adds a good tinge of flavor.

The Steak is served on a platter with roasted fennel and the dressing. It amplifies your dish by many levels. You can prepare the three aspects simultaneously without waiting for one part to get cooked. Save time, and wait less!

8. Fried Minute Steak with Onion Gravy

I love my onions, and a classic onion gravy goes well with meat. Are you looking for the simplest steak recipe? Look no more.

A beginner might ace this one because all you have to do is fry the egg and flour-coated steak in a skillet and bake it with an onion mixture. The goodness and sweetness of onions hit just about right in your mouth.

Make sure you don’t overdo the onion mixture because it might then taste bitter. Pair with mashed potatoes or rice to balance the sweetness.

9. Minute Steaks with Broccolini & Cannellini Bean

Did you get your broccolini and some leftover beans? That is all needed for this recipe. The broccolini and beans are seasoned well with chili and garlic. At the same time, the steaks are browned and cooked for a short time.

When you serve the steak, add in your veggies and beans. The secret part of this recipe is deglazing the pan with lemon juice and adding the pan juices to the steak to give it an extra pop of flavor.

I believe that this recipe isn’t extravagant, but the flavors do make it. You can have it with a good baguette bread.

10. Carne Asada Minute Steaks

Do your love a good spicy recipe to let that heat kick in? If yes, then the Carne Asada Minute Steaks recipe has soy sauce, jalapeno, and chili powder as the chief ingredients of the marinade.

You need to put the steaks in a sealed bag with the marinade. Further, take it out and cook it in a griller or iron pan for 2-3 minutes on each side. Once done, cut these delicious steaks and serve them with some Mexican salsa, tortillas, and onions.

A quick tip for the marination part is not to let the steak sit for more than 15 minutes in the bag. You don’t want an extra salty steak.

11. Chipotle Minute Steak Tacos and Chimichurri Tomato Salad

Tacos are soul-touching food. I like my tacos stuffed with the goodness of protein and carbs. If you are throwing a party, this recipe isn’t something you should miss out on.

The recipe has several parts: roast the sweet potatoes, prepare the salad and the dressing, cook the steak, and prepare the tortillas to stuff the mixture inside. Does it sound like a lot of work?

Well, the complexity of the recipe is the bare minimum. You need to go with the flow, enjoy the process, and divide the work simultaneously. The tacos are then topped with loads of cheese for that extra pop of deliciousness.

The highlight of the recipe is the chipotle paste, so make sure you buy one from a reputed brand.

12. Minute Steaks and Skillet-Roasted Chicken

A smooth buttery steak melts my heart and mouth water just by the thought. What can possibly go wrong with this quick roasted chicken recipe glazed with the goodness of butter, rosemary, garlic, and Worcestershire sauce.

I can imagine a dinner date with a champagne glass and this classic roasted chicken. It’s a flavorsome recipe, but you can add more drama by pairing your veggies with it.

You brown your steaks, prepare your scrambled eggs and then go to the hidden part – pair it with stuffed tomato herbs for that extra kick. It’s very tasty, and the steak is topped with giardiniera (hot vegetables). Slice a lemon and squeeze it on top for that citrus punch.

15. Minute Steak and Egg with Red Hot Butter Sauce

I am leveling up the game for you. Don’t you feel the rush of good dishes coming in individually? This an easy recipe for a fitness freak like me. It has a lot of protein and is made with just minimal ingredients, yet the dish doesn’t lack flavors.

Cook your steak in a skillet after seasoning it with salt and pepper, then sprinkle breadcrumbs on top. Make a sunny-side-up egg and prepare your hot sauce in the same skillet until it thickens.

I like to assemble them to prepare a feast. The bottom layer is of the steak, followed by the egg, and finally, a good layer of hot butter sauce. For garnishing, you can use chives or parsley.

16. Minute Steak & Sweet Potato Wedges

The goodness of sweet potato wedges, along with a well-cooked steak, makes the perfect light brunch. I like to keep my wedges and steak with simple flavors. So, there’s an extra sauce to amplify the taste.

For the sauce or gravy, the main ingredients are shallot, beef stock, red wine vinegar, and a dash of Worcestershire sauce.

Bake the potato wedges, fry the steak, and pair it with this relishing thickened sauce.

You can either make this sauce or buy it from a store if you are running late. But let me tell you, the home-cooked one tastes heavenly. A tenderized steak is made using a mallet by beating it until its thin.

17. Instant Pot Minute Steak

When I am craving pasta, I go for pasta with a twist. You need protein for nutrition. So, I paired my pasta with this mind-blowing instant pot minute steak gravy. Trust me, you’re going to fall in love with the recipe.

You just have to coat your bite-sized steak with flour and cook it in a pot or pressure cooker. Once done, add brown gravy and chicken soup to the same pot. Let it thicken, and add in your bite-sized steaks.

Mix it well, give it a good toss, and trust me, the warmth of the gravy is going to mesmerize you. Pair it with pasta or fried rice. Just remember not to overcrowd your pot when browning the steak.

18. Minute Steak with Salad and Remoulade Sauce

This recipe is a piece of cake if you have vinaigrette and remoulade sauce. Whenever I have fewer ingredients and want to dig into a flavorful steak, I go for this recipe.

You grill your seasoned steak on a grilling pan. Cut it into thin slices and pair it with cherry tomatoes and arugula tossed in vinaigrette. If the steak is a little thick, beat it with a mallet.

Finally, the star ingredient is the remoulade sauce topped on the steak. Your simple, quick, ready-to-eat steak is now officially open for serving.

19. Minute Steak Stacks with Herbed Anchovy Butter

I can’t get over herbed butter, especially when blended with anchovies. This mute steak recipe has steak glazed with butter. You will go gaga over this one if you are fond of anchovies.

Prepare the butter by cooking anchovies,s shallot, and vinegar in a skillet until the vinegar evaporates. Mash the anchovies and mix them with herbs, pepper, and butter once cooled down. A glazy herbed butter is now ready to be layered between steaks.

It’s an indulgence that makes your mouth drool over the glaziness of the meat, the goodness of the butter, and the aesthetic appeal of the dish. You can store the anchovy butter for about a month when frozen.

20. Minute Steak and Mushroom Sauce

All the mushroom lovers, don’t worry, I won’t leave you disappointed. This steak smothered in mushroom sauce is a dish to die for all mushroom fanatics.

The mushroom sauce is prepared with mushrooms, mushroom soup, and milk to give that extra thickness. While the steak is fried until it gets crispy. The smooth sauce with crispy steak is one of the best possible combinations.

I mean, what can possibly go wrong with this combination? Nothing. It’s the perfect meal for dinner when paired with mashed potatoes.

One hack for that extra crunchiness is to cook the steak on low flame for longer.

Indians love their spices, and so do I. If you’re a spice lover, you should try cooking this subtle yet spice-coated minute steak.
