Ingredients
  

  • 1 tbsp ground cumin
  • 2 tbsp cayenne pepper
  • 2 tbsp paprika
  • 1 tbsp black pepper
  • ¼ cup lemon juice
  • ½ tsp salt 
  • 2 tsp unsalted butter
  • 2 tsp garlic, minced
  • 4 calamari steaks

Instructions
 

  • Add all the ingredients to a zip-close bag, save for the steaks. Seal the bag and rub until all the ingredients are combined.
  • Place the steaks into the bag and seal it. Coat the calamari well with the marinade by turning over and rubbing them. Marinate the steaks for an hour in the refrigerator.
  • Heat up the grill. Keep the temperature at medium-high.
  • Remove the steak from the marinade and throw them on the hot grill. Make sure they don’t come in contact with the flame. Grill them for 5 minutes, turning them halfway through.
  • Take them off the grill and season it with spices, if needed. Pair it with mashed potatoes or a dip of your choice. Enjoy!
