Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup bow-tie pasta
  • 1 carrot chopped finely
  • 1 big onion, chopped finely
  • 3/4 to 1 cup water
  • ½ small capsicum chopped finely
  • 1 tbsp pasta sauce
  • ½ tsp pepper freshly crushed
  • ¼ tsp mixed herbs
  • salt to taste

To Temper

  • ½ tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 2 tsp crushed garlic
  • 1 tbsp butter

Instructions
 

  • Cook pasta along with water and salt until soft. Drain water and keep aside.
  • Heat oil + butter, add cumin, let it crackle.
  • Add crushed garlic, and sauté for 2 mins.
  • Add onion, and sauté till transparent. Then add carrot and capsicum for a few mins.
  • Then add pasta sauce, and mix well.
  • Add water and let the veggies cook for a few mins.
  • Cook covered until the veggies are slightly soft yet crunchy enough to bite.
  • Then add crushed pepper, mixed herbs, and salt.
  • Mix well. Add the pasta and toss well. Serve Bow Tie Pasta hot!
